We began working in the community with youth baseball in 2017

Our family moved to St. Peters, MO in 2003 and both my children have grown up in this community. My son began playing baseball in the SPAA where I began to coach him and many of the kids from around the neighborhood. He began playing baseball at the beginning of what we now know as the club era of baseball even though we were part of many independent teams. I coached with DPBX Mizuno in the late 2000's and my son continued to play competitively through high school at Fort Zumwalt East for Coach Russ Hill, along with some Legion baseball, Stallions of SLABA, and the St. Louis Sting before going onto play in college. Over those years I have taken the good and the bad along with my own successes and failures to what we have done with Youth Baseball Midwest. There are so many positives about youth baseball, but sometimes we as the adults in the room do not always see what is right in front of us.
